Michael Brady Ltd was appointed as principal contractor for the full refurbishment and re-cladding of Brunswick Apartments, a prominent 11-storey student accommodation building in Southampton.
Spanning 13 months, the project involved the comprehensive replacement of the external cladding system, dramatically improving both the aesthetic appeal and fire safety performance of the building.
Internally, the scheme delivered a complete refurbishment of all student rooms, alongside the addition of new units, creating a total of 173 modern, market-leading student bedrooms.
The ground floor amenities were also reimagined, including a new gym, private dining spaces, study areas, co-working lounges, a management suite and upgraded communal facilities. These upgrades were designed to meet the evolving needs of today’s students and provide a welcoming, functional space that feels like a home away from home.
