Michael Brady Ltd was appointed as principal contractor for this prestigious rooftop development in the heart of South Kensington.
The project involved the transformation and vertical extension of an existing three-storey apartment block to deliver two high-end penthouses using off-site modular construction.
11 modular units were built off-site and lifted into place. The finished project features sleek zinc cladding and two spacious three-bedroom apartments, each offering stunning views of Kensington.
To facilitate the delivery and craning of the 11 units, MBL managed the complex logistics of a Central London road closure, coordinating with crane specialists and hauliers to complete the delivery safely between 12am and 6am to minimise disruption.
This ambitious installation process was not only a technical achievement but caught the attention of onlookers throughout the day.

In addition to the rooftop extension, the project also included a new lift overrun, full refurbishment of common areas, renovation of existing apartments, and significant mechanical and electrical upgrades throughout the building.
