Michael Brady Ltd has completed the full refurbishment and recladding of Brunswick Apartments in Southampton for Empiric Student Property.
The 13-month project delivered 173 upgraded student rooms, extensive amenity spaces, and a completely renewed façade on the 11-storey building.
Michael Brady Ltd is pleased to announce the successful completion of Brunswick Apartments — a landmark student accommodation refurbishment in Southampton delivered on behalf of Empiric Student Property.
Spanning 11 storeys and delivered over 13 months, the project involved the full recladding of the existing building to modern safety and energy efficiency standards. Internally, the scheme delivered a complete refurbishment of the existing bedrooms alongside the creation of additional units, bringing the total to 173 modern student rooms.
A major part of the transformation focused on the ground floor amenity offering. The newly reconfigured space includes a gym, private dining areas, co-working lounges, study zones, and a management suite — all designed to support today’s students with spaces for wellbeing, focus and connection.
Brunswick Apartments has also been nominated for two Global Student Living Awards, a reflection of the quality and impact of the refurbishment. The project marks another significant step in MBL’s growing partnership with Empiric and showcases our continued commitment to delivering high-quality, purpose-built student accommodation in live environments.
