This technically ambitious project involved lifting and installing 11 off-site modular units to create two luxurious three-bedroom penthouses on top of an existing three-storey building.
The installation required the overnight closure of a Central London road, with all modules craned into place between 12am and 6am to comply with local regulations. The MBL team worked closely with crane specialists and hauliers to ensure a smooth, well-coordinated operation with minimal disruption.
Beyond the rooftop works, MBL delivered a full refurbishment of common areas, upgrade of existing apartments, and installation of a new lift. The completed penthouses are finished in zinc cladding with expansive glazing, offering contemporary, high-end living spaces with exceptional views across Kensington.
