Michael Brady Ltd has commenced a new Cat A commercial fit-out on Rushworth Street, Southwark, converting four heritage warehouses into a striking two-storey office space.

We've started works on a new commercial scheme on Rushworth Street in Southwark - a project marking our first collaboration with this client. The development involves the Cat A fit-out and structural reconfiguration of four heritage warehouse buildings, set to become a bold and modern two-storey office space.

The design combines industrial character with contemporary features and includes a new extension with an exposed lift and central atrium, alongside a feature entrance lobby and double-height spaces to create a dynamic and light-filled working environment.

The scope of works includes:

  • Full internal and structural reconfiguration

  • New extension with exposed lift and central atrium

  • Architectural detailing including glazed openings, industrial finishes, and modern mechanical services

The project has already drawn interest in the architectural community, having recently been featured in Architect's Journal, highlighting the scheme’s thoughtful approach to blending heritage and modern workplace design.

MBL is proud to be delivering this transformation in one of London’s most vibrant commercial districts and looks forward to sharing progress as the project develops.
