MBL completes 4 new luxury apartments in South London

MBL was selected to work on a New Build project in Thornton Heath, on a site that was land locked apart from one entrance which MBL successfully completed on a Design and Build contract mixed use development.

The first stage of the project was completed in December 2019 and, working alongside Thomas Alexander architects, involved constructing a new timber framed building consisting of 5 houses, with a steel framed 3 storey structure built for a commercial unit.

The second stage involved building 4 luxury apartments at the front of the property. All homes were built using the latest energy efficient MEP specifications with air source heat pumps throughout. The apartments were designed to maximise natural light while not compromising on heat or noise insulation. The combination of brickwork and aluminium cladding and windows allows the structure to fit seamlessly into the existing neighbourhood.
